Futureisblank Hats
Sculptural felt hats turn the silhouette of the head into a small piece of architecture—worn, remembered and continually reinterpreted.
The series grew from a Poland–Turkey cultural exchange and experiments with felt, handmade wooden moulds and specialist hat craft. Produced as a limited edition, it later appeared in Milan and at Wallpaper* Middle East Revealed, and is now being revisited with the possibility of a future relaunch.
Craft carried
into character.
Examining the idea of hats and questioning perceptions of past and future, the Futureisblank collection grew from experiments with felt and handmade wooden moulds. Each piece reimagines a classic hat shape as abstract geometry, using steam and pressure to turn stiff textile into an architectural volume.
