Billing himself an 'interdisciplinary designer' Istanbul-based Tamer Nakisci's experience spans technology, automotive design,  multi-sensorial installations and products. He is inspired by the future and fascinated by a timeless aesthetic, and his work focuses on the interactions between people, spaces and objects. His relatively short career ( a decade spent between Turkey and several European cities ) has garnered him a plethora of international prizes and exhibitions, including a showcase at Villa Noailles Design Parade and two Red Dot awards.

Tamer Nakisci is an interdisciplinary designer with a strong vision and fascination for the future. With his ability to play with ideas and forms, emotions, materials and technologies in surprising and innovative ways; Tamer Nakisci explores new scenarios, physical and emotional interactions between the human, spaces and objects through his work.

He started his career in design with FIAT Advanced Design Concept Lab in Milan in 2004.
He won his first international award in 2005 with his design Nokia 888. Selected among "Europe's 100 Young Creative Talents" by the European Union in 2009, his designs brought him many prestigious awards including most prominently
The Red Dot, Wallpaper* Design Awards and Good Design Award by Chicago Athenaeum of Design. He is one of the "10 Contemporary Turkish Artists You Should Know" according to Artsy.

Working out of London and Istanbul since 2015, Tamer Nakisci's work was covered by a number of
publications like Wallpaper* and Dwell magazine, and showcased in important platforms including
Villa Noailles,
ICFF Studio and Royal Academy of Arts. He is working across a broad range of projects, varying from product design to installations from his Istanbul based Studio/Nakisci and London based Futureisblank.
